...is a yoga teacher based in Seattle Washington who discovered the joy of yoga over twelve years ago, and more recently has moved her learning and practice of asana into to a daily ritual. Her connection with movement and the body is long routed in dance, which she began as a young child. As a teacher of students age pre-K through pre-college, Danielle found that incorporating breath work and mindfulness into her art classroom did wonders for her students. With a interest in spreading yoga to as many people as possible, Danielle made the commitment to study yoga at Yoga Vida, NYC, where she completed her 200 RYT training.
She has lead classes for students from Harlem, and the Bronx, and currently teaches yoga to public students in a new charter school in West Seattle, Washington.
As a yogi and teacher, Danielle values honoring the self, and body through ahimsa work, dedicated meditation, and asana practice. Yoga is a process of going inward, of pushing through difficulties and calming the mind to become more present, more aware. Through yoga practice, one can connect to the self, the source, and the light within us all.
