I believe in choice.

I believe that every student is an artist, and that they can and should control the subject matter, materials and approach to their way of making.  The students beliefs and interests drive the work, and through this accepting and nurturing space of the studio, the students' self-motivation will flourish. I believe in making mistakes, of trying new things out, of working fast or working slow.  I believe that each student who walks in my door is full of potential and full of knowledge.  I believe we can all learn from another.

I believe in choice.
